Thanks for stopping by my new blogsite, please check back frequently as I try to post often. I hope to have the galleries up and running on this new site as soon as possible, but feel free to peruse my older posts to see some of my work. What can I say, I love what I do and I finally have the opportunity to do this full time as of September 2009. I have to say that I love taking photos of new bundles of joy in their first few days after birth as they are so squishy and moldable. On the other hand I love a wedding day and how it unfolds before the camera. Senior photography is another one of my passions as they love fasion and trying something new each time. Meet Oliver Joseph Paget

So as most people know by now, we adopted a little baby boy 4 weeks ago today actually and I know I have had so many people waiting for photos of him, I have a few to share but will have many more to add over the next little while.  I would love to share our story with you but to give you just a little sneak into our special story, we found out on July 10th about Oliver and immediately jumped at the chance to add him to our family.  We have been trying to have kids for almost 9 years now and with no luck.  We are so blessed that the mom chose us to be Oliver’s parents and I know he is so loved by us and all our family.  So on July 28th, only 18 days after finding out about Oliver, we were there at the hospital for his birth, what an amazing day.  Here are a few pics taken over the past few weeks including a special one that my friend took of me and Oliver when he was just 5 days old.  Lots more to come I promise.

Taken on top of Shawn’s great grandmother’s dresser that we darkened down a bit after we found out about Oliver, I love this piece in his room.

Another Grad from a few weeks ago – Meet Kortney

Oh Kortney, what a total beauty, we had a blast doing her photos, her little sister just had to be in a few as well.  What a cutie.  Although it took a bit of convincing to get Kortney in the water, I think you will agree that the picture turned out great, such perfect wind to take her hair and everything. Yeah I finally have some time to post a few for you

Ok So to keep my grads happy (which I have been doing an awful job at lately with the business of the baby) I wanted to post a few grads that I took over the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy a sneak into Casey’s session.  I really wish I could have posted them earlier.  I am sure most mom’s out there realize how difficult it is to get things done once you become a mom, now I realize why.  I have been trying to catch up on my weddings and such and finally finished what I needed done.  Here’s Casey from CNHS, what a beauty, I really enjoyed our session even though we had to dodge a few rain showers.  Here’s Casey

Brooke – Houlton High Senior Photography

Hey followers, I just want to say sorry for not posting lately, it has been a bit of a whirlwind over the past few weeks as we have a new baby boy that joined the Paget family a few weeks ago so I am so behind right now.  Thanks for sticking with me, check back soon for pics of our new son.  In the meantime here is Brooke who has been so patiently waiting for some photos to share with her friends.  Thanks Brooke for being so understanding.  Here is Brooke.

Underwater Photography – High School Grad photographs

So Hartfelt Images is now offering underwater photography as an art piece to a grad session.  It is an add on session so if you are interested in a session like the one I did with Lindsay let me know.  Here are a couple pictures that I took of her underwater.  Think of putting things in water that you normally wouldn’t, like a trumpet, drum, something fun and funky or just a really cool dress.  What do you think?

Derek and Aynslie are hitched!!

Oh I so enjoyed the day with Aynslie and Derek a few weeks ago, I had to wait to post these after they got back from their honeymoon in Alaska.  Aynslie was such a great person to work with, so organized and ready for everything, I love that about her, She had lists of paper and I had to laugh when her brother made a comment about all the trees that were used for Aynslie’s lists.   What a beautiful day we had and I felt so honored to capture these guys.  As some know Derek is a teacher at NBCC for the photography course, when they first showed up to my place to meet, I had no idea and felt a bit nervous since I am all self taught.  I hope I captured your day and got most of the pictures you wanted Aynslie and Derek, here are a few from your special day.

Meet Ruby Jane – a sweet wide eyed beauty of a friend of mine

Here’s Ruby, my friend Holly and her hubby Jay had Ruby 2 months ago now but we didn’t get a chance to do a session until just recently as she was up visiting with her Family.  I have known Holly for a very long time as her older sister is one of my dear friends from Kindergarten, and now Holly and my sister have become close over the past few years.  I felt so blessed to do this session with Holly and Jay as I wanted them to have some nice photos for their wall of their new addition to the fam. Can I just say that I love it when a baby yawns, oh man now I’m yawning just thinking about it haha.
