Naiomi Donovan – Class of 2010 Presque Isle High School

Posted on August 18, 2009

Yeah the start of Grad/Senior season. Friends of mine from Presque Isle had me over on Sunday to take pics of their beautiful daughter Naiomi, we had a lot of fun driving around finding cool places to take pics. Although I don’t think the background really mattered as this gal was so gorgeous. If you are looking for grad pics to be done, please call soon as I am getting quite booked for September already. Here is a sneak, I hope you like my new blog templates, I thought they were pretty cool and different.

Posted on August 17, 2009

What a crazy last few weeks this has been, sorry I have been slacking in the blog world. A couple weeks ago I had the privilege to capture Nate and Sharon’s day. What a cute couple, so in love but then you should be on your wedding day right? They oozed lovie dovie and it was so cute. I guess from what Nate’s dad said, he never showed affection in public much before but I definately did not have to prompt them to kiss much. Soooo cute and in Love and such a great and funny family. Here is a sneak into their special day, Thanks Nate and Sharon for allowing me to capture your day!

The Shea Family

Posted on August 7, 2009

So on Monday after a full weekend of weddings and engagement shoots the Shea family joined me near my home for some much needed family photos. The last time they had a family photo was about 10 years ago. With the boys all grown it was a good time to get them done while Jared was home from out west. Here is a sneakIMG_6668blog

Natacha and Bradley – Fredericton, NB July 31, 2009

Posted on August 5, 2009

Well I finally had a chance to pick out a few of my favorites from this wedding last week. What a great day and great time together. Bradley is originally from Mactaquac and Natacha is from Edmonton, they met through E-Harmony and you could tell they were meant for each other. Bradley was so sweet and caring, and they definately couldn’t get enough of each other. The day started out at Avalon Spa in Fredericton and they had their wedding on the green at the Delta. What a perfect wedding overlooking the water. WE were very lucky in that we were almost done our photos when it started to sprinkle, the wedding happening at 6:00 wasn’t that lucky. The food was amazing at Fredericton Delta and there was definately not a shortage of it. Natacha and Bradley I hope you enjoy a sneak into your day. I am so glad we got a chance to meet and work together. IMG_6114

Mr. and Mrs. Dort, Pictou, NS

Posted on August 3, 2009

Well it has been a whirlwind of a weekend and it’s not over yet, first a wedding in Fredericton, which I will blog later today hopefully, then we headed to Moncton that night, stayed at Shawn’s Grandmother’s house and just about died of heat exhaustion in the upstairs and then headed on to Pictou for the BBQ/Birthday party. Now just to tell you a bit about this, most of the family of Diane guessed that we would have a wedding this weekend but it was still a great surprise to have it. Diane (Shawn’s Aunt) and Eddie (Edgar) have been together for 13 years, they have a lovely house on the water near Pictou, NS. They always talked that if they ever got hitched they would do that on the front lawn overlooking the bay so when they announced over a year ago about the plans of a BBQ on the long weekend and that there would be invitations etc. sent out, we really thought that there would be a wedding invitation come in the mail to us, nope it was just a BBQ/Birthday party for Eddie. So we were sitting there on the front deck having a great time when Eddie and Diane came out at about 3:45 and said “We have an announcement to make, we are going to get married at 4:00 and the Justice of the Peace will be here soon” Lots of cheers happened and probably a few tears as well, what an exciting day. A few minutes later Mere (Shawn’s Grandmother), came out on the deck and said “they dropped the wedding cake”, I thought oh great and ran inside to see a large handprint in the side of the cake where Fred grabbed it so it wouldn’t land on the floor. We managed to fix it up and it looked pretty good, from my understanding the lady at Sobeys took the cake out to show Diane when she went to pick up the bday cake and didn’t put it back in the fridge and left it right beside where they cook the muffins etc plus when Diane’s friend Fern went and picked up the cake, she had to leave it in her car for an hour or so before the announcement was made (she was the only one who knew there was a wedding so she got flowers picked up for Diane as well as the cake) On to the wedding, Diane looked so beautiful in this white casual dress with a very colourful coverup, it was so her and Eddie in his Hawaiian shirt. What a great day, I even got to do some beach shots with them after the wedding as well as a sunset shot too. Here is a sneak into their day. Soooo in Love, can you see it in Diane’s eyes. I sure can. Congrats Diane and Edgar.IMG_6316
