Walker – HCS Class of 2010

So I know Walker and his family have been patiently waiting to see a sneak into his session a while back, sorry guys it’s been a busy few weeks lately. I can’t wait for my day job to be done so I can focus on photography and my new mortgage broker career. Walker you were a blast to photograph and I definately burst out laughing a few times while we hung out. I hope you like the sneak. The rest will be uploaded today as well. So here is Walker, grad from Hartland Community School.

Of course I can’t forget to mention my beautiful neighbour Jackie, I used to babsit her when she was a baby and now she is dating, crazy. Here she is with Walker.

So I gave my notice at work today and I will be officially done my job (8-5) on September 24th. I am getting so busy with my photography that I don’t have time for anything lately. I realized that my health and family are really important and I need to do this for me and for them. I have also started a new career in Mortgage Brokering. I started with a great company and great ladies, Nancy Messer and Sylvie Ann Messer with Key Mortgage Brokers in Fredericton will be training me over the next few months so if you know of anyone in need of a mortgage, or plan on consolidating their loans to make lower payments or even if their mortgage is soon to be renewed, send them my way as I would love to assist in getting the best rate for those people. I am really stoked and can’t wait for the change, I know it is the best decision for us. Call me if you need anything 506-375-6856

Here is my new profile pic that my hubby took of me in the studio last night, I actually like this picture of me, which is rare, there is a reason why I am behind the camera and not in front of it but I am glad that my husband was willing to help me in getting this photo for my new business cards.

Travis and Laura are getting married soon

So the day is approaching soon for Travis and Laura to get married and I know it will be a very fun day. I grew up around Travis so it was a lot of fun to go and hang out with these two last week. After a very long day of photo shoots and driving clear to the lake to only find out that my sister didn’t tell me about the change in venues for the baby shower that she was throwing for her friend and then driving clear back to Bristol to my sister’s place for the shower (yeah I was really mad about that one), it was a great change to get together and see the total love between these two, except when Travis wouldn’t pick Laura up to get her back over the long grass as she was terrified that there were snakes out there. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like them either but sometimes you just have to not think about those things. Thanks guys for being troupers, I had a fun time with you both and can’t wait for your special day.

Ava – 11 days old

I so love it when I get to play with newborns, they are such a treat and it is one of my favorite sessions. Meet Ava, such a doll and so tiny. I think one of my favorites is the one with her dog looking down on her. Sooo cute!!! If you are looking for an in house session, give me a call as I now offer this where I come to you. Nathaniel and Meredith are Married

So I had the joy of photographing Nathaniel and Meredith a couple weeks ago, I know, I know, totally behind on blogging, I guess that’s what you get when you work a full time job plus have two home businesses. Crazy hours and no time for anything. Anyways I joined Meredith in Saint Andrews at the Algonquin after we roamed around downtown trying to find the right thing for her hair piece, she found a beautiful Orchid to go with her beautiful hair and it was just stunning. After a rushed dressing session, we joined Nathaniel down on the front deck of the Algonquin so they could have their first moment and it was so beautiful. They are such a cute couple. We hoped in the cars and headed to the Kingsbrae gardens for the wedding and a bunch of shots before the wedding. Although Meredith was a bit nervous standing up in front of the crowd, she pulled it off and totally focused on her new husband, so cute!! After a small reception/cocktail hour, everyone left and I had them all to myself. We headed off to downtown foggy Saint Andrews and got quite a few good shots. I hope you like the sneak into their day.
