So while I was away, I recieved an email from Julia who is a long time acquaintence of mine, We met back in probably grade 8 or 9 when my friend Amanda introduced us, now fast forward 17 years later and we meet up again and I am so glad we did. We have been trying to schedule a session with Julia’s new baby girl JoZie for a bit since I got back from Florida and I finally had a chance to meet this sweet little girl with perfect features. I stopped by Julia’s on the way home from Volunteering at Southern Carleton Elementary and had a chance to capture a few good ones. Although JoZie wasn’t in the best of moods, hopefully you will like a few of my favorites. Normally if I was home when she had emailed me I would have tried to schedule her in for her photos within the first 11 days after birth but it just didn’t pan out with me being away. Babies are so sleepy at that time of life and just about sleep through anything. We did get a few good smiles out of sweet JoZie. Here is a sneak into her session.
Yay, a new blogsite for Hartfelt Images

So what do you think, hopefully it will be much easier to post comments on this one as I know people have had troubles in the past. So for my first post of this new site, I thought I would share a bit of my trip to Florida with my family. Here are a few cute shots that I got of Alicia’s kids while there, aren’t they so adorable. Ivy, the youngest had a great time ruining everyones sand creations while there, so here is her process, go get water from the ocean, bring it up and pour it on the sand creation and then go back for more, she is so adorable. The picture of Ivy in the water with her mom is very similar to a picture I took of Afton at a little younger age when we were in Florida back 4 years ago, I was hoping for the same facial expressions of Afton but that didn’t work, I really wish I could find the file but I took it with my mom’s camera 4 years ago so it must be on her computer. Of course on our second to last day we found a closer beach and Afton was the only one brave enough to go down to her bathing suit, as you can see Jack definately was thinking it was winter. It wasn’t the best of weather down there but we did get an 84 degree day (beach day #1), it took us almost 2 hours to get there but it was so nice when we finally made it. Gotta love beach traffic. While in Florida, I also went to a photography conference a couple hours away from my parents new place in Cape Coral. I learned so much about High School Senior photography and can’t wait to implement it all this year. Lots of great options coming down the line for everyone, once I get some samples I will be sure to post them. Without further ado, here are some of my favorite shots from Florida. I will try and post a few pics from Disney as well as we went there for Afton’s 5th birthday while there but they are on my other computer.
