I wanted to share this video of some of my favorite shots from a session last year. This is Madison, she was born a bit early I think so that is why she is 20 days old in these pics, normally I don’t recommend having the photos done that late but sometimes you get lucky with a baby that sleeps the whole time and you can get some awesome shots. I was so thankful to her parents for bringing her to me as I love what we captured and the hat they brought was beautiful. Alexa – 11 days old ~ Woodstock Newborn Photographer

Ok so I know I have totally been slacking in this part of my business but I want to assure you I didn’t give up on blogging, I have so many past sessions to blog that it may take a while to get caught up but I want to give you new things to look at each week from here on out. So there that is my promise to my blog readers hopefully you will check back and read in each week as I hope to post more and more.

Here is Alexa, my most recent newborn in the studio for her newborn photography session, what a great little gal at 11 days old, she slept the whole time or most of the time haha. I got to try out some of my new props that I have here at the studio with Alexa and love the new colors that I have for backgrounds.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to capture these newborn moments in life, I know I still regret not getting enough of my son when he was small but if you are expecting, contact me now if you want to book a newborn photography session as we will setup a time close to your due date and if you go over or go early, we can tweak that day completely so we can get you in before the baby turns 10 days old, as that is the best time to capture them when they are sleepy and moldable. I want to assure you that we will capture the most beautiful photos of your newborn baby here at the studio. Thanks again for checking in again on my blog. Keep checking back.

Anders – 6 month session – Woodstock, NB Child Photographer

So the cute and adorable Anders came in to have his 6 month session done with me. Anders mom Sophie wanted to have some pics done with him as well as she realizes that us mom’s with Cameras rarely get in front of the camera with our kids and I think that is very important to capture us with our children. Anders is one of my baby planners so he had a newborn session done, now 6 month session done and we are doing a cake session for his 1 year session. Now Anders was such a cutie and so loveable but when we went outside he just wasn’t having anything to deal with the camera as there were so many more interesting things going on outside. I was so excited to receive the call from Meredith that their third child Sawyer had been born, so I hoped in my car and did another in house session at their place at the first of July. Emery – 5 days old – Woodstock, NB Newborn Photographer

Wow I can’t believe that Emery has been here that long already but she was born back in May and shame on me for not posting her beautiful pictures earlier. Thanks to Crystal for bringing this new bundle to me, I feel so blessed to be able to photograph newborns (one of my favs to photograph) If you are having a baby soon and would like for me to photograph your new bundle, I suggest getting a hold of me before you have the baby so we can somewhat plan on the arrival. All newborn photographs are done under 10 days old as they are the most moldable and sleepy at this time so call me as soon as the baby is here if you want a session like this. Well on to Emery, our sweet little Emery

So Michelle and Tim have also had a baby girl just last week actually, what an adorable couple, they were so easy to photograph, probably because they were just married last year and had tons of pics taken in China as well as for their wedding here in NB. Maya arrived just a week and a half ago and I had the pleasure of photographing her this past Wednesday at a week old so keep checking back for her adorable session.
